In keeping with tradition, the gang at Empire have lined up another insane night for the good folks of Montreal.. Over the past few years, Empire has brought in a wide range of HipHop All-Stars to help celebrate anniversary and give the crowd something special.. But in my (bias) opinion, tonight breaks the mold. The boys have reached out and brought in 90's hiphop legends, Naughty By Nature to give the scene a serious throw back treat..

After sitting down and going through all the submissions for the Tiger Box art contest, we came to understand a few things..
Firstly I have to say that there is a lot of talent floating around out there. In general, the submissions for the contest were well above expectations making it no easy task to choose a winner.. Secondly, based on the amount of submissions, its pretty clear we need to do this again in the not so distant future! But finally, this contest reminded us how much we like Montreal artist DAVE ARNOLD's work! Dave's art was the last submission we accepted and was strong enough to sweep the contest and take the $1000.00 Tiger prize pack! Congrats to the man, myth & legend..A preview of his winning design is coming soon!

Hatched from the brains of Jeremy Elkin & Jason Auger comes Canada's latest skate production, Elephant Direct. Along with Adidas and Color Magazine, we had the pleasure of joining the project to help ensure it comes to light.. Featuring a heavily talent & unique rooster of skateboards, mixed with a strict film regiment and quality control means this is project will be the truth..The Canadian premier is set for Aug 7th in Montreal at 215 Murray Street st...( BBQ, Ramp Jam, Live music & BYOB..) Pretty much guaranteed to be an epic night!

Each July, the fashion world descends on Berlin for the B&B tradeshow. Along with thousands of brands, every media outlet hits the show to give the world a few sneak peaks of what's to come in Spring 2011.. Now just to be clear, I'm not a big believer in leaking future designs/product as I kinda feel it's like knowing what you're getting for christmas before you actually open your presents.
That being said, they are a few sneak leaks worth noting and in particular, the new partnership between WeSC & SUPER sunglasses.. Here's deal: These two brands have teamed up to create slick little collection that will be offered to accounts for Spring 2011. To help kick off the partnership and give a few of you a chance to be beat the curve, a limited run of 500 pairs (with inter-changable lenses ) has been created for released this summer at select WeSC dealers..More updates coming soon but for now, Here's a look..
