Penfield – the iconic outerwear brand established in Massachusetts in 1975 – is proud to present a Spring/Summer 2012 collection of dynamic men’s & women’s pieces designed for an outdoor lifestyle. Influenced by the coastal towns of Penfield’s native New England, the Spring/Summer 2012 collection, the most comprehensive to date, covers a number of nautical-inspired pieces that range from Boat Yellow Hudson Wax jackets and accessories to Classic shirting and fine cotton knitwear. Referencing the brand’s vibrant history with the continued use of archival-inspired designs and fabrics like 60/40 and Hudson Wax cloth, Penfield also forged ahead this season with updated staple silhouettes such as the Gibson and Vassan jackets alongside a number of new styles including the Holbrook and Beechdale. The new collection is brought together with a fresh and vibrant color pallet from Boat Yellow, Heritage Blue, Sun Bleached Burgundy and Waxed Cotton Gingham to this season's premium Black Bear fabric, a classic waxed Black Watch Tartan.
